Here at WNYU we are proud to announce the return of our old timey blues show Shake ‘Em On Down. The show will begin airing Friday, December 5th at 7:30-9 p.m., and will be hosted by Alex, who hosted the show many a year ago. Tune in to get your fix of the best blues from the Delta to Chicago and beyond.
WNYU Announces Partnership with American University in Paris Radio
On February 4th, 2008, WNYU began a partnership with The American University in Paris.
WNYU-FM’s programming will be simulcast both on the website of American University in Paris (aupradio.org) and soon over a nationwide French cable network.
This cable-radio broadcast, called Freebox, will eventually reach THREEMILLIONHOMES in most major cities in France.

WNYU is New York University ‘s radio station and is completely operated by NYU students. WNYU’s studios are located in the basement of 5-11 University Pl. in Greenwich Village. WNYU’s transmitter is located at University Heights in the Bronx, the former location of NYU. WNYU broadcasts on 89.1 FM with an effective radiated power of 8,300 watts weekdays from 4:00PM to 1:00AM, and on the Internet 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In the NYU dorms, WNYU can be heard 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, as the audio for WNYU-TVs campus information channel.
