How Do I Join WNYU?
WNYU is open to any current NYU student. We are looking for prospective DJs, broadcast journalists, sports and culture commentators, graphic designers, and web designers. You do NOT need any prior radio experience to apply.
We are beginning our fall 2015 recruitment season. To prepare, we have planned two open house sessions and one recruitment meeting. The open houses will be held on Sunday, August 30th, 2015 and Tuesday, September 1st, 2015 from noon to 4 pm. We are located in the basement of Weinstein Residence Hall, 5-11 University Place, across from Downstein. Our recruitment meeting will be at 9 pm on September 10th, in Kimmel room 909.
We are also hosting a lecture with Prince Rama at 2 pm on Sunday, September 6th in Grand Hall of Kimmel – two nights before (9/4) we’ll be co-hosting a show with AdHoc.fm at Palisades featuring Prince Rama, Giant Claw, Darren Keen and Macula Dog.
How to Apply
For those interested in hosting a music show, the application form can be found HERE. Please read through the directions thoroughly and answer the questions carefully. Note that changes made to the form are not saved – if you’d like to work on the form over long periods of time, try drafting your responses in a word processor before submitting.
