It's A Queer Country

Inspired by the queer, twangy poets of Two Nice Girls, the self-proclaimed ”dyke rock" group that formed the crux of the 1990s alternative music scene in Austin, Texas, this show explores queer alt-country, oddball folk, so-called “lady” singer-songwriter, and any gem of the countercultural South. It’s mostly oldies with an emphasis on analog.
