radio features strictly the best in Jamaican
ska, rocksteady, roots, and grounation music of the 1960's. From the music of the
Skatalites, the Dragonnaires, Count Ossie, and Carlos
Malcolm, as well as the singers of the ska era, to the more varied musical outfits and soulful vocal groups of the rocksteady era,
Tunnel One intends to entertain, educate, and stimulate from week to week and year
to year. Now hosted by dee jay Mush One (of The Slackers, Rocksteady 7, Version City Rockers, Sic and
Mad, and fireProof, and currently of The Scorchers, & The
Hungry March Band, as well as stints with Murphy's Law and the
Mighty Mighty Bosstones), this show has taken a turn towards the roots of Jamaican music. Special guest deejay's, live in-studio acts, as well as ticket giveaways and up-to-the minute concert reports of New York City's roots

A Downtown Affair will resurface tracks from a variety of labels during the '70s and '80s, building a synergy between beautiful string arrangements, funk-infused rhythms, and emotive vocal dexterity.
